This Sheffield green 1929 Chrysler Series 75 Six three window 2/4 passenger coupe with rumble seat is a very solid and complete vintage car ready to be restored or customized. This is the intermediate size Chrysler for 1929 and 9,488 of this model were made. This is a three owner car originally from Grass Valley CA. The body has excellent solid, straight and dry sheet metal except the right running board is dented. The original windshield and door glass is there but it is frosted and needs to be replaced. The headlight lenses are cracked. The right cowl running light is bent and the lens is missing. The rear tail lights are missing and the license plate hanger is bent. The right door, golf door and rumble seat handles are missing. The original roof wood has been reinforced with sheet metal to keep it from coming apart. Most of the original top and door wood are there for making reproduction copies. The radiator cap and two of the hubcaps are missing. The built-in radiator shutters were working a few years ago but they have not been checked lately. The wood wheels are all there and they look dry and solid. There is a spare rim in the trunk. The seat spring cores are there. The gauge panel and gauges are all there. The upper dash wood insert is missing. The wood floor is mostly missing. The Fedco VIN plate which is built into the dash is there. The chassis is complete and looks solid and straight. This year Chrysler has four wheel hydraulic brakes. The intermediate size 249 CID OHV inline six cylinder 75 HP motor and 3 speed manual floor shift transmission are all there. The motor number is R270738. Nothing has been taken off the motor and it looks like a runner. The previous owner said the car was running when is was retired from service in the late 1960's. The motor was not stuck a few years ago but we have not checked it lately. The actual running and driving condition is unknown.
