This green and black 1941-46 IHC International K-5 Model 214 1 1/2 ton Railway Express van is an all-original custom body van truck ready to be restored or customized. This original truck was in service all it's life in Bozeman and Billings, Montana. The van body is heavy duty commercial construction and was built specially for Railway Express (unknown builder). The body has a few dents and quite a few bullet holes. The tail lights, headlight rings and reflectors are gone. The glass is broken. It has the good Budd wheels. The driver compartment is complete. The floor is steel. The sliding side doors are all there. The double folding read doors are all there. There is a little rust in the sheet metal on both sides above the rear wheel reinforcements. The condition of the roof is unknown although it does not look like it is leaking. The van compartment has a plywood floor but it may be over sheet metal. The 213 CID L-head inline six cylinder motor and 4 speed manual transmission is all there. It has a broken rear axle. The wheelbase is 156" and the weight is 9,800 lbs.
