The 1951 Mercury 4 Door Sport Sedan is ready for a frame-off original restoration or custom. This project car is very straight, no-rust and complete. In 1951, Mercury re-styled the grill and tail lights which are now integrated into the grill and fenders. This is a much smoother design and enhances the desirability of this car. The right front door is bent and the trim is missing but we have a replacement door with trim that is included. The top is dented in but can be repaired. All the glass is good. All the exterior trim is there, including good parking and tail light lenses. All the emblems are there. The grill is slightly bent in a couple places but can be repaired. The interior is all there. The dash is in good condition. The L-head flathead 255 CID V-8 motor and Merc-O-Matic automatic transmission are complete. The mileage is unknown.
