This brown 1953 Ranch Wagon 2 door station wagon is a very solid, complete project car ready to be restored. The body is very straight, solid and dent-free. All the trim is there. The grill is complete and there is some surface rust in the right center grill piece. The bottom center of the front bumper is bent out. The rear bumper is bent out in the center bottom area. The hood hinges are bent and the back outside corner tips are bent. The windshield is broken. The right headlight trim is dented. The main part missing on this Ranch Wagon is the top half of the clamshell tailgate. I have a friend who will sell a good one with good glass and trim for $450. The bottom tailgate is complete and opens and closes correctly. The dash and gauges are complete except the radio is missing. The front seat is missing but we have a good front seat core out of a 54 Ford 2 door sedan that comes with the car. The floors are solid except the right rear seat well is rusted. This occurred because the car was sitting low on the right rear and water settled in this area over the years. The spare well is solid. The 239 CID L-head flathead V-8 is all there except the radiator, carburetor and air cleaner are missing. The Fordomatic automatic transmission and drive train are all there. The chassis and suspension are solid and straight. You won't be doing much body work when restoring this vehicle. This vehicle comes with a new Alabama title in your name.
