This red and black 1915 Ford Model T custom 2 passenger speedster roadster is a very unique time-capsule early racer ready to be shown or driven. The vehicle was sold new from a dealership in Shoshone, Idaho. It was originally a pickup and was used on the family farm. In 1936, the son of the owner converted the T pickup into this unique period-correct speedster "Bug", which were quite popular in this era. The car comes with a hand-typed letter dated 1992 from the builder of the Bug. The letter details how the car was built and is an authentic documentation of the Bug's history. The body is well made and was recovered some years ago. The body is made of lumber, covered by painted canvas. The "Bug" features larger 3 1/2" X 30" wheels, reconfiguration of the gas tank  and a different radiator to fit the front area. There is no starter and the speedster is direct wired and started by pushing. The original 177 CID L-head inline four cylinder 20 HP motor runs great and the 2 speed Model T transmission work great. The speedster runs great and is alot of fun to drive. Here is your chance of own an authentic early Model T speedster "Bug" roadster.  Please call (406) 318-0270 for details about this restorable classic 15 Bug Speedster project car.
