This green 1950 FWD COE cab-over-engine 4X4 3 door crew cab utility truck is an extremely scarce vehicle ready to be restored for some special purpose. The truck was in service with the US Bureau of Reclamation in central Montana. This truck is very heavy duty and has a large steel utility box with three side compartments on each side and a covered storage area in the center. It also has an add-on boom rig in the back for lifting and planting poles. There are pole carriers on the sides of the box. This is a five passenger truck with two in the front and three in the back, which is accessed by a third door on the right side. The cab and box are straight and in fairly good condition. There is a little rust in the lower back of the cab on the left side. The doors are all good. The top hinge on the third door is loose. The nose and grill of the cab is missing. There is an add-on front bumper reinforcement. The interior is all there except the motor dog house is gone. The gauges and dash are complete. The speedometer glass is cracked. The 6 cylinder L-head motor is missing the manifolds, front brackets, generator, water pump and radiator. Once restored, this truck would be perfect for any application where a crew and equipment needed to get to a remote location.
