This black 1944 Dodge Model WFA 36 SWB 1 1/2 ton 14,000 GVW wrecker tow truck is a very solid truck ready to be restored. The wrecker body is home-made and is power by a PTO with gear reduction box and cable winch. The truck was running when it was retired a few years ago. The cab has solid, no-rust sheet metal. The grill has some dents. The front fenders are dented and has some welded tears. The right headlight bucket is bent over and the left one is dented in the back. The right door lock is gone. The rear fenders are dented. The interior is all there. The 236 CID L-head inline six cylinder motor and 4 speed manual transmission are all there. The truck comes with a good Montana title. This is a solid big work truck that could be restored or turned into a tilit-back car hauler.
