This 1948 Diamond T Model 404 tall cab flatbed 5 window stake bed hoist dump grain truck is a low miles, second-owner truck ready to be driven and shown. The truck has 42,199 original miles. This standard trim level truck has new read paint with green accent stripping. The body is solid and in excellent condition. The ties are new and the hubcaps look good. The rear Mustang dumping body is 14 feet in length, 8 feet in width and has 4 foot detachable side panels and rear grain shoot. This dumping body is off hardwood construction with little or now deterioration except for paint. The tan and white interior with red seat is nicely restored. The headliner is not perfect. It has a larger aftermarket heater. The power train, chassis and suspension are all-original and have not been restored. The Hercules JXB 263 CID 68 HP inline six cylinder motor runs normally. It has an aftermarket electric fuel pump. The truck has a Clark 4 speed manual transmission and single reduction, vacuum-shift two speed rear axle.
