This red 1959 Chevrolet Series 1200 1/2 ton El Camino sedan-pickup is a partially-complete body and rolling chassis ready to be restored or customized. The body has solid and dry western desert sheet metal, except there is a little rust in the front of the right rocker and in the left rear cab corner below the back glass. The windshield is broken. There is an air cleaner hole cut in the hood and there are front hood lock-down pins. There is a dent in the front of the hood. Most of the chrome trim is off the car and is in the back. It appears that most of the trim is there but no inventory has been taken. There is a scrape in the right front fender. The right door has been sprung and the sheet metal is bent at the hinge seam. The driver outside mirror panel is gone. The back top of the left fin is dented and the filler has fallen out. The inside tail gate handle is gone. The box is dented and the floor looks OK. The car has a gray and black interior. There is no seat. The gauges are all there but the rest of the dash is mostly stripped. The floors and rear floor wells are rusted and need to be replaced. The steering wheel is not stock. The car appears to have been a V-8 automatic car and a manual clutch pedal has been added. The 283 CID OHV 185 HP Turbo-Fire V-8 motor and transmission are gone. The radiator and some external motor components are there. Here is your chance to build a desirable 59 El Camino car pickup. Please call (406) 318-0270 for details about this restorable classic 1959 Chevrolet project car pickup. For sale $2,500.
