The Vermillion Red 1969 Mustang 2 door hardtop coupe is a fairly complete, not-stock muscle car ready to be restored or customized. The car runs and drives. We recently removed the rear traction bars, repaired a broken leaf spring, replaced the steering gear and had the front end aligned. The brakes work OK. The motor runs a little rough and needs to have the carburetor rebuilt. All the glass is good. The right door and quarter panel are dented. The body is solid except the left quarter tail is rusted. There are add-on sheet metal rear mud flaps. The grill surround is dented. The quarter scoop trim are gone. The car has a black interior. The dash and gauges are all there. There is a dash-mounted tachometer which does not work. The steering wheel is not stock. The radio is gone and some of the dash and door handles are loose. The seats are not stock and have seat covers. The left door panel has been recovered. The right door panel is gone. There is a door panel in the back but it is not known if it is correct. The floors look solid but the carpets have not been pulled up for inspection. The car has non-stock custom wheels. The car has a later 289-302 CID 2V two barrel OHV V-8 motor and close ratio four speed manual transmission. The car has been converted from an automatic to manual floor shift car.The car runs and drives OK but need some work. Don't miss this chance to own and built a 69 Mustang muscle car street rod.
