This dark blue 1976 Dodge D100 Custom 1/2 ton Sweptside pickup is a limited edition True Spirit truck ready to be restored or customized. Approximately 200 of these True Spirit custom trim package trucks were produced for the Los Angeles and San Francisco CA markets. The trucks are identified by the True Spirit tail gate graphics and the body white pin stripping. These True Spirit trucks were built to test the market for custom trim trucks. Very few of them exist. The body has solid western desert sheet metal except there is a little rust starting in the tail of the right front fender and above the wheel well in the left rear quarter panel. The hood letters are gone except the E is there. There are some small bends in the grill. The front bumper has a pulled up area in the top center and a dent on the left side. There are a few small dents in the fenders, mainly in the left front center side, the front of the left front fender and the rear of the left quarter panel. The inside of the box is dented and the bed is solid. The truck has a sliding rear cab window. The glass is good. The poverty hubcaps are all there. The truck has an add-on right outside mirror. The stock left door mirror is broken. There is a heavy-duty aftermarket rear tow bumper. The truck has a two tone blue interior. There is a seat cover over the stock seat. The dash pad is gone. The gauge panel is out and on the front seat. All the gauges are gone. The horn button, radio and glove box door are gone. The floor is solid. The 318 CID 2V OHV 150 HP V-8 motor and automatic transmission are all there. The truck has power steering and power brakes. Nothing has been taken off the motor and it looks like a running. However the actual running and driving condition is unknown. Here is your opportunity to own and restore a very scarce 1976 Dodge True Spirit 1/2 ton pickup.
