This Satin silver 1963 Chevrolet Corvair 500 Series 2 door post coupe is a very complete classic body and chassis ready to be restored or customized. In 1963, only 16,680 were made of this model. The body has excellent rust-free, solid and super straight sheet metal, bumpers and trim. The car has surface rust and the sheet metal is solid. All the glass is good. The front cowl grill and trim is off and inside the car. The backup light lenses are missing. The driver exterior mirror plate is missing but the mirror base is there. The hubcaps and wipers are missing. The blue bench seat interior is all there. The seat cores look good. The front seat is unbolted. The glove box door and shifter knob are missing. There is rust in the front floors, mainly in the driver front. The rear floors have not been inspected and they may also need some work. The Base Six 145 CID 80 HP horizontally-opposed "pancake six" motor and three speed manual floor shift transmission are gone and the engine compartment has been stripped.
