This white 1961 Plymouth Belvedere Model RP1/2-M21 2 door sedan is a mostly complete classic project car ready to be restored. Only 4,740 of this model were made in 1961. The car has a special order Golden Commando 361 V-8. The windshield is broken. The right and out left headlight trim rings are missing. The right front fender is damaged and the fender trim is missing. The left side of the front bumper is bent. There is a small rusted area in the rocker under the left door and the left quarter tail is rusted. The antenna is missing. The right quarter trim is missing. The lower center of the rear bumper is bent. The backup lenses are missing. The truck for is solid. The blue and white interior is all there except the dash mirror, dash speaker panel, horn ring and cigarette lighter are missing. The upper gauge cluster is out and sitting on the dash. The steering wheel ring is cracked. There is an add-on ammeter gauge on the left lower dash. The right floors are rusted and it is likely the left floors are also rusted although this is not showing. The car has power steering and power brakes. The special order Golden Commando 361 CID OHV 4V 4 barrel 305 HP high performance V-8 motor and automatic transmission are all there except the air cleaner is missing. It is likely very few of these Belvedere 2 door post cars were ordered with the Golden Commando motor. The running and driving condition is unknown.
