This beige and brown 1953 Chrysler Windsor Town and Country 4 door station wagon is a very scarce survivor car ready to be restored. This is a very hard-to-fine wagon and only 1,242 were made. The body has good, solid, dry Montana sheet metal. The right headlight trim is missing. The hood and grill badges are missing. There are no exterior door handles. Both front door trim are missing. Both rear corner trim pieces below the tail lights are missing. The tail light lenses are missing. The Chrysler tail gate badge is broken and the lower right Windsor badge is missing. There are dents in the right rear quarter panel and both right doors. The glass is good, except the rear flat glass is missing. The brown interior is all there except the horn ring and turn signal lever are missing. The seats are all there. The rear wood floor is deteriorating but the steel floor slates are all there. The driver floor is rusted away. The condition of the remained of the floors is unknown but all the floor covering is in place. The spare well floor is rusted. The 265 CID L-head 119 HP inline six cylinder motor and 3 speed manual transmission are all there, except the radiator, fan and air cleaner are missing. Here is your opportunity to restore an extremely-scarce 53 Chrysler Town & Country station wagon. Please call (406) 318-0270 for details about this restorable classic project car.
