This 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu 2 door hardtop is a solid and straight stripped body and chassis ready to be customized or restored into a SS-396 clone. The front clip including the upper cowl have been replaced with good, straight sheet metal, except the fender tails are rusted and need replacement panels. The cowl body tag reads 66-13517 for Malibu 2 door hardtop. There is a small dent in the front top of the left front fender. The rest of the body is very straight and solid. The main rear body has a heavy coat of poorly-applied grey primer. There is no trim or body hardware installed. There is some un-inventoried trim and door parts inside the car. All the glass is missing. The right front splash panel is bent at the corner. The rear splash panel is bent in the center. There are good front and rear bumpers not on the car. There is a bullet hole in the left deck lid. The tail light lenses are not useable. There is no dash or interior. The floor needs to be replaced. The truck floor is good. The bucket seats inside the car are not correct. There is no motor, transmission or engine compartment components.
