This black 1932 Chevrolet Confederate Series Model BB canopy express is an extremely scarce Montana produce truck ready to be restored. These trucks had a roll-up canvas canopy and were used by produce vendors to sell their goods. The special canopy box and canopy metal is all there. Some of the photos show the top metal in place. All the wood needs to be replaced. There is enough wood there for making patterns for new wood. The scarce tail gate is there. The left tail gate latch is missing. The metal throughout is generally solid. There is some rust in the lower cowls, doors and body joints. The fenders and running boards are dented and torn in places. The hood and lamp assemblies are missing. We have a good painted shell radiator. The dash is there and some of the gauges are missing. The seat is missing. The interior window garnish is there. One window regulator is missing. Both door mechanisms and handles are missing. The motor is missing some external parts. We have four good 18" wheels. The front wheels have now been installed. The differential has been stripped. We have a spare core differential which will be put under the truck with wheels to make it a roller. We think this was a standard canopy express. It could be built into the special canopy express by chrome plating the headlight buckets and radiator shell. This is an opportunity to restore this scarce truck into a commercial vehicle or even use it to market produce at outdoor markets.
