This white 1983 American-General Model DJ-5L 4X2 1/4 ton light delivery postal dispatcher truck is a very complete truck ready to be restored. It was a local route mail truck in the small town of Walkerville, Montana near Butte, MT. The truck is very complete. The body is in good shape except there is rust in the lower rear panel, in the front bottom of the left door and rocker and in the front floors. The truck was running when we bought it about 5 years ago. The keys are missing. It would need to have the fuel and brakes gone through to be operable. The odometer reads 84,482 and although we cannot be sure, we think this is the original mileage. The 134 CID OHV inline 4 cylinder motor and automatic transmission are all there.
