This yellow 1955 Hudson Metropolitan 2 door hardtop is a very solid project car ready to be detailed, serviced and enjoyed. It is a very scarce AMC-Hudson Metropolitan car. The Hudson Metro is identical to the Nash Metropolitan except for the grill badge and Hudson VIN plate. Very few of these Hudson metro's were made and they are very hard to find. The body is solid. The flat glass windshield is cracked. There are some small dents in the bumpers. It has good amateur not-perfect paint, which was done a few years ago. The paint is peeling below the fill cap. The black and white interior is new. The horn button and turn signal assembly are missing. It has aftermarket column-mounted turn signal controls. The 4 cylinder Austin motor, manual 3 speed transmission and drive train are complete. The car was running and driving 3 years ago. Some of the wiring has been redone. The fuel and brake systems need to be cleaned and serviced. We will have it running and driving for the lucky person who buys this car.
