This Signal red 1965 Triumph Herald 1200 2+2 roadster modified to look like a 57 Chevy convertible is a solid and complete classic sports car ready to be restored. The builder installed 57 Chevrolet headlights, cut down front bumper, modified and cut down grill, hood insert and tail lights. The modification work is not perfect. The right upper grill bar piece is missing. The grill does not fit perfectly. The tail light work looks OK. There is no rear bumper. The body has dry and solid western desert sheet metal. The top is all there. The interior is stock. The black bucket seats are original. The 2+2 back seat and door panels are missing. The dash and gauges are complete. There is an add-on under-dash stereo. The steering wheel horn button is gone. The 1147 CC "1200" OHV S4 inline four cylinder motor and four speed manual floor shift transmission are all there. The running and driving condition is unknown. The Herald has rack and pinion steering and 4 wheel independent suspension with coil springs in the front and leaf springs in the rear.
