This white 1977 Ford Ranchero 500 2 door 1/2 ton car pickup is a very complete classic vehicle ready to be restored or customized. The body has solid western desert sheet metal. There are dents in the left front fender and trim, in the left rear wheel well trim and in the back of the right quarter panel. The front left turn signal and trim are broken. There is a small dent in the top center of the left door. Both bumpers have small dents. The rest of the car is straight. The box has a nice hinged and locking two piece diamond plate bed cover. The bed bottom is solid. The brown interior is all there except the aftermarket door speakers have been removed. The seat is worn. The dash pad is cracked and has a padded cover. The dash and gauges are all there. The floors are solid. The car has a 302 COD OHV 140 HP V-8 motor with air conditioning, power steering, power brakes and automatic transmission. The car was running and driving and the motor stopped running and this may be a broken timing chain. There is no way to tell about this problem for sure but it does sound like the timing chain.
