This 1927 Studebaker Standard/Dictator Series 27 Six Model EU four door sedan is an authentic old school rat rod ready to be restored or used the way it is. The roof is gone and the cross bars are in the back seat. Some of the flat glass is cracked or missing. There are no lower hood sides or radiator badge. The nickel plated headlight buckets, radiator shell and bumpers are fairly good. The headlights have been converted to 12 volt. The running boards are missing. There is rust in the cowl bottom sides, bottoms of the doors and around the right rear fender. Both rockers are dented. There is a dent in the right rear corner between the windows. Otherwise the rest of the body and fenders are solid and straight. The left rear door handle is gone. The doors do not close correctly. The original wood dash has 7 gauges installed. The floors are plywood. The front bucket seats and rear seats are out of a Firebird and are not installed. Most of the inside door handles are missing. The motor is a built Chevy 383 stroker with four barrel carburetor, cam and headers. The transmission is a 350 Turbo 3 speed automatic. The differential is a 10 bolt GM. A Camaro/Nova front suspension clip with steering has been added. The car runs and drives. The motor could use a tuneup. Here is your chance to own and drive a real old school hot rod that has got that rough rat rod look built-in. Please call (406) 318-0270 for details about this restorable classic project car.
