This red 1934 Reo Speedwagon is a time capsule barn find 1 1/2 ton pumper fire engine ready to be shown, used in a museum or utilized as a promotional mascot. This very scarce, low miles Reo fire engine is 98% complete and was taken out of service in 1970 and stored in a barn. The odometer reads 4,900 miles and this is the actual original mileage. The body has very straight and rust-free western sheet metal. The truck and pumper service body are in excellent all-original condition. All the tools are still on the truck. The warning light and spot lights are all there. The pump and hoses are all there. The driver area and dash with gauges are complete. The four cylinder L-head motor and 4 speed manual transmission are all there. Nothing has been taken off the motor. The fire department where it came from said the truck was running and driving normally when retired. It was driven into the barn in 1970 and has not been used since that time.
