This black 1949 Chevrolet DeLuxe Styleline two door sedan is a nice daily driver ready to be restored or enjoyed the way it is. The car has older paint which has considerable chipping throughout the exterior. The body is very straight and solid except the vertical panel below the deck lid has some rust. The grill, bumper and chrome look good. The horizontal trim pieces below the windows are missing. The rocker chrome and quarter trim are missing. The interior is complete. The front seat has a protective seat cover. The original seats look fairly good. The driver floor pan is rusted but the rest of the floors are solid. The dash and gauges are all there. The radio does not work. The car has after-market run signals. The front parking lights have been converted to turn signals. The 216 CID 90 HP OHV inline six cylinder motor and three speed manual transmission work great. The motor smokes a little. The car drives well. The gas tank was rebuilt. It has new brakes. The motor has a fresh tune-up with all tune-up parts replaced. The carburetor was rebuilt. All the hoses and belt are new. The car now has a new black vinyl top and new paint.
