This tan drab 1960 Mercedes-Benz Unimog Model S404.1 4X4 single cab soft top cargo body military utility vehicle is a nice running and driving Unimog ready to be restored, customized and driven. This was the standard issue Unimog for NATO/West Germany/Swiss/Belgium Military. The truck is bone-stock and has 47,000 km. on the odometer. The body, chassis and power train are in good condition. It is a very dry truck with no rust. The truck has a soft fold-down top and a covered Pritsche drop-side cargo body. There is a new canvas cargo body cover (not installed). All three cover bows are there. It is powered by a 2.2 liter six cylinder 82 HP Mercedes gas motor. Power is delivered via a 6 speed forward and 2 speeds reverse transmission. The truck runs in either 4X2 or 4X4. The truck has locking differentials on the fly. The final differential and hub reduction ratio is 7.56:1. The final ratio in first gear is 113:1.
