This blue 1973 Elfin 620 Formula Ford is one of five cars build by Elfin Sports Cars of Edwardstown South Australia, and given to Ford Motor Company to race in the USA. It is a Type F-P 620 Formula Ford race car, frame number 73430. It was originally Car #1, painted red white and blue. It was first registered by the California Sports Car Club on 11/7/73 to Michael Hall. The current and second owner, who I represent, painted it dark blue and renumbered the car to #74. He retired from racing in 1981 and the car has been in indoor dry storage ever since. It has not been started in 25 years so the motor and brakes need to be cleaned and serviced. The car is in excellent condition and was stored after it's last race in 1981. It comes with a trailer, extra motor block and ten sets of gears. Due to it's history, I believe the car should be returned to Australia and restored back to red, white and blue #1. The trailer will fit in a 20 ft. container with the car on it.
