This 1967 Vetta Ventura coupe sports car is a very scarce all-original survivor ready to be restored. Only a handful of these rare muscle sports cars were made. The body is by Intermeccanica of Italy. It was running and driving when stored in 1984. It has a cast iron 300 CID 250 HP Buick V-8 with 4 Bbl. carburetor and four speed manual floor shift transmission. Inside the door panel it is stamped #55. It has 46,500 miles on the odometer. It has chrome wire wheels. The body and chassis are rust-free and straight. There is some paint bubbling forward of the drivers door in the rocker. There is a small ding in the paint to the left of the right headlight. The older paint is fairly good. The chrome parts are solid but need to be replated. The black interior is all there. The dash and seats are in good condition. The carpet is tattered. There is new door molding and new heater duct line. The speedometer face is slightly fogged and the rest of the gauges are good. It has Vanguard aftermarket air conditioning. The carb and brakes need rebuilding from sitting for 22 years. The water pump is corroded and needs to be replaced. The gas tank was removed 2 years ago, cleaned and urethane coated. The fuel tank sending unit needs to be rebuilt. The clutch is frozen, but the car can be shifted in and out of the gears.
