This metallic green 1961 Cadillac Series 62 six window 4 door hardtop is a solid straight Nevada project car ready to be restored. This is the first car I ever sold after I started DesertClassics.com in 2002. I bought the car from a tow truck driver who was moving from Elko, Nevada where I then lived to Wyoming. He could not take the car with him and sold it to me. I sold the car to Norbert Altmann of Hoppegarten, Germany. This picture is of the car in Norbert's warehouse in Germany. Norbert and his wife Birgit have become very good friends and last year they came to Butte, Montana to visit. We had a great time. Norbert has a number of early Cadillac cars that he has restored. In his local car club, he is known as "Cadillac Cowboy" and he loves to have barbecues in his back yard with his friends. The picture of Norbert and Birgit was their Christmas card last year.
