This two-tone green 1956 Ford Fairlane Sunliner convertible is a complete project car package ready to be restored. It is a scarce-optioned "P6" code Special Thunderbird V-8 312 CID 4 barrel V-8 automatic car. The VIN is P6RC186943. The motor is missing. The car comes with a good, straight, complete front clip and other parts such as tail lights and rear bumper from the 56 wagon shown in the photos to make the convertible more-or-less complete. We are checking to make sure will have a 312 CID P code motor core to go with the car. If we don't have a P code core, we do have 272 and 292 cores to go with the car. The automatic transmission and bell housing are still in the convertible. The car comes with new two-tone green upholstery kit, carpets and a new top. The windshield is broken. The top windshield trim is off the car and in the back seat. There is some rust in the rockers, below the tail lights and head lights. The headlight trim are there but off the car. There are some small dents in the right door trim. There are also some small repairable dents in the body. The trunk trim is missing. The trunk floor is solid but the bottom of the spare well is rusted through. The interior and top are all there. The radio is missing. The floor is gone and needs to be replaced.
