This 1927 Ahrens-Fox Model N-S-14 is an extremely scarce Kansas City fire engine ready to be shown and paraded. Ahrens-Fox fire engines are recognized as the top-of-the-line Cadillac of early fire engines. The truck is bone stock and all-original. It runs and drives great. The truck was one of five Ahrens-Fox hose trucks specially-ordered by Kansas City with the optional very large 998 CID six cylinder motor. There are only two known to exist and this is one of them. The truck has a short wheelbase and is relatively light thus it is very quick. The truck has a four connection water cannon that mounts in the back. This allowed the water cannon to hook up to as many 4 pumpers and provided high volume, long range fire fighting capacity.
