This black 1948 Chevrolet Fleetmaster 4 door sedan is a very solid, complete project car ready to be restored or customized. The grill bumpers, trim and optional sun visor are in good condition. The body is very solid. The car has been hit on the front passenger door and fender. These must be repaired or replaced. The door post has some minor repairable damage. The right fender door extenstion is missing. The right rocker trim is damaged. The left rear quarter window trim is missing. The vertical center grill badge is missing. There is a small dent in the back of the right quarter. The deck lid has a repairable dent. The left side mirror is missing. Both quarter panel front mud guards are missing. The right front hubcap and beauty ring are missing. The interior is all there, The dash is complete including the gauges, radio and clock. The odometer reads 19,091.7 miles and has turned over. The chassis and suspension are solid, straight and complete. The 216 CID six cylinder motor has the top end removed and the parts are in the trunk. Otherwise the motor and compartment are complete. The parts stored in the back seat and trunk are not for this car. The 3 speed manual transmission and drive train are all there.
