This 1937 Lincoln-Zephyr sedan pickup is a one-off custom vehicle ready to be restored, customized or rodded. This car pickup is typical of the conversion from cars to pickups that were made after the Great Depression when you made do with what you had. Out west, we call them "Montana Pickups". This particular truck is extremely scarce as very few of these conversions were made from such a rare and unique car as a 1937 Lincoln-Zephyr. Known as "teardrops" in design and styling, 37 Zephyrs had the highly-desirable sweeping vee hood and sculptured headlights built into the teardrop fenders. The sheet metal is excellent, very solid high Idaho desert quality. The right front fender is dented and has a welded tear at the top of the wheel well. This damage is repairable and luckily is all to the outside of the center bead. The grill has some dent bars in the upper left section. The right headlight trim and both headlight lenses are missing. There is no front bumper or brackets. The chassis is stock 37 Lincoln-Zephyr with brackets added in the back for a pickup box. The joining of the bodies is fairly well done but needs to be perfected. The make year of the back truck panel is unknown. There are repairable dents in the right rear corner behind the door and in the right rear of the top. There is no bed. The interior is gone. The dash is good and the scarce Zephyr gauges are there. The floor is good. The steering column is stock. The power train is gone. A differential without springs is laying under the truck and it is missing the left hub and brake. The front wheels are there and the truck will be shipping with rolling tires in the front.
