This red 1953 IHC International R-160 2 ton dump truck is a running and driving work truck ready to be restored or put to use the way it is. The body is very solid and straight, except there is some rust in the lower rear cab corners. There is a dent in the front of the hood. The hood and cowl badges are missing. The headlight rings and parking lenses are missing. The right running board is missing. There is a tear in the sheet metal near the left door upper hinge. There are a few small dents and some of them have filler. There are some filled areas in the back of the cab. The truck has a shop-made steel bed hydraulic dump box driven by a mechanical PTO. The wood side boards are fixed. The truck has "Air Link" air suspension and a commercial aluminum 50 gallon fuel tank. The tires are good. It has a trailer hitch. The dash is complete except the radio and speaker are missing. It has non-stock bucket seats but the original bench seat frame is there. The door panels are missing. The 221 CID OHV inline six cylinder motor has been rebuilt. The 4 speed manual transmission and two speed rear axle work normally. The brakes are OK but need to be gone through.
