This red 1942 Ford GPW World War II 4X4 utility jeep-type vehicle is a very solid, complete truck ready to be restored. The GPW has a white home-made wood and plywood top with doors and sliding side windows. This is a Montana high-country hunting vehicle. The body and chassis are solid and rust-free. The front fenders have a few small dents. The hood does not fit properly and needs to be adjusted. The headlights and bumpers are not stock. There is a home-made tow bar. There are three non-stock hubcaps. There is a jack box on the back, left rear spare mount and right rear jerry gas can mount. The interior is all there. The blue seats have been re-upholstered. The dash is complete. The odometer reads 80,465. The floors are solid. The gas tank is inside a box in the back of the cab. There is a rear gun rack. There are no lock-out hubs. The vehicle has been converted to a more-powerful 169 CID L-head Studebaker 80 hp six cylinder motor. The motor and power train are complete. The motor was running when the vehicle was stored years ago. It needs a new clutch. It has a Montana title. Here's your chance to restore and drive a WW II GPW 4X4 Universal Jeep.
