This blue 1950 GMC Series FC-101 1/2 ton pickup is a very solid started restoration ready to be finished or customized. This was originally a red truck. The sheet metal is very solid and straight and someone spent some time assembling good body pieces for this truck. The truck has an optional grill which is nice but has a few small repairable dents. The right parking light lens is broken. There are a couple dents on the right side of the GMC panel above the grill. There are some drill holes in the top of the front fenders for turn signals. The truck has a nice Chevy box which has not been installed. There are a few dents in the rails and the Chevrolet tail gate. There are some welded spots in the tail gate. The wood floor of the box needs to be replaced. There is a bracket welded to the right corner of the box. The left tail light is damaged. The side of the right running board is bent in the right door is a 1951 with a wind wing. There is a heavy duty rear bumper and the left rear fender spare well. There is a jerry can mount on the right rear running board. The interior is stock and complete except the door panels and left window handle are gone. The glove box door is on the front seat. There is an aftermarket horn button mounted on the steering column. The cab floor are solid. The 228 CID OHV inline six cylinder 96 HP motor appears to be original. The four speed manual transmission is all there. The enclosed drive line has been removed and a later differential has been installed. The axle centers do not line up and the springs need to be turned around to make this work.
