This red 1949 GMC Series 300
1 1/2 ton truck with no bed is a very solid Montana ranch truck ready to be restored. The body is very solid, including the rear lower cab corners. There are some small dents in the chrome grill and grill surround. There are some small dents in the hood. There is a rough area with paint bubbling in the front of the left fender under the headlight. There is a dent in the top back of the cab about the window. A homemade manual turn signal is mounted on the upper left rear cab. The rest of the body is very solid and straight. The doors are good. The chassis and suspension look good. The rear outer dual wheels are missing. The interior is all there. There are some added gauges in and under the dash. The truck has the bigger GMC 270 CID 104 HP OHV inline six cylinder motor with 4 speed manual floor shift transmission and two-speed rear axle.
