This blue 1972 Ford Explorer Styleside F-250 3/4 ton Camper Special with classic Alaskan RV 10 foot pop-up camper is a very complete, solid, straight truck and camper ready to be restored or used the way it is.  The truck was running and driving a few years ago. The truck is very straight and has no rust anywhere. The windshield is broken. Both rear quarter side reflectors are missing. The left quarter and rocker trim are dented. The left tail rocker trim is missing. The truck has aftermarket aluminum running boards, front-mount spare tire carrier and roof boat rack.  The optional 360 CID 215 HP 375 ft/lbs torque truck motor was supposedly rebuilt by the former owner before we got it. It was running a few years ago and the fuel and brake systems need to be cleaned and serviced before putting the truck back on the road. It has an optional  3 speed Selectshift Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. There is a CB in the cab and the camper. The classic-era Alaskan RV 10 foot pop-up camper is in good condition. The Alaskan Camper's motto was "It raises, it lowers". These pop-up campers  have been made since 1953 with relatively few design changes.  To camp, a hydraulic system raises the roof to 6'4" inside clearance. When lowered, the center of gravity is greatly reduced and well as the wind resistance.  It goes down the road like a camper shell with the pop-up size of a full-sized standard camper. The camper has a scrap on the right top side and the left upper front corner has separated due to some loose screws. Otherwise it is very complete and straight. The inside is all wood paneling. It has an upper 2 person bed and a forward table that breaks down into another 2 person bed. Both beds have multi-section foam mattresses. There is extensive cabinetry and lots of storage space.  The Alaskan is completely self-contained and has a 16,000 BTU propane furnace for heat. The kitchen has a stainless steel sink with hand and electric pump. The refrigerator is a Dometic 3 way with propane, 12 volt and 120 volt operation. The stove is a propane Magic Chef three-burner unit. The camper has a 27 gallon water storage tank. The inside of this classic Alaskan camper looks great. The roof is not stained and does not look like it leaks. This Alaskan pop-up campers are hard to find as it is and this one is on the ultimate matched Ford F-250 Camper Special truck. Don't miss this deal and soon you will be headed down the road in classic Alaskan Camper style. Sale Pending
