This Sandpiper beige 1952 Ford Customline V-8 station wagon is a special order commercial ambulance ready to be restored. The car is very solid and complete. The body has rust-free western desert sheet metal. The ambulance features include top front and rear red lights, suicide-style rear side doors, single right-opening rear barn door, passenger compartment divider with sliding window and rear area stretcher deck. All of the special ambulance components are there. The Ford hood badge is gone. The right front of the hood is dented and the hood hinges are bent. The grill has surface rust. The right front parking lenses is gone and the right headlight ring is dented. There are dents in the front bumper and the right bumper guard is missing. The driver outside mirror is missing. The windshield has wiper burn. The rain gutter over the windshield is bent. The right rear side and door glass are broken. The right tail light lens is gone. The rear bumper is dented and the bumper guards are gone. The rear door trim is dented. Both rear doors are sprung and there is damage to the sheet metal on both sides of the hinge seam. The trim bars behind both rear doors are dented. There are some dents in the top, mainly on the right side. The brown and grey interior is mostly all there. The front seat is not stock. The dash and gauges are all there except the center dash clock is missing. The floor is solid. The left rear inside door handles are gone. The right rear side window shade is gone. The 239 CID L-head 110 HP V-8 motor and three speed manual column shift transmission are all there.
