This 1939 Ford Model 91C 1/2 ton custom pickup is a unique custom vehicle ready to be restored. The truck was build in the 60's on a 1954 Cadillac chassis. The cab, grill, hood,front fenders and box are 39 Ford truck. The quarter panels are 1954 Cadillac. The headlights are 1961 Chrysler. We are still trying to figure out the origin of the front and rear bumpers and front turn signals. Build in the "George Barris" custom style, somebody went to alot of work to put this truck together. There are large areas that have been filled. We suspect there are inserts under the fill put we cannot be sure. These photos were taken a couple years ago when we bought the truck. Since then, there has been more deterioration to the filler. All the filler work needs to be redone. The interior uses a 1954 Cadillac dash and steering column. The steering wheel is not stock. The door panels are also 54 Caddy. It has unknown-make bucket seats. The floor has some rust. The Cadillac 331 CID 230 HP V-8 4 barrel motor, automatic transmission and the rest of the drive train is all there. We poured gas in the motor and it started. The rest of the running condition is unknown. We haven't looked at the chassis and suspension closely but it looks like it is all stock 1954 Cadillac.
