This black 1927 Ford Model TT C-cab stake box truck is an unaltered original vehicle ready to be restored. This is one of the best original C-cabs we have ever owned. The body is all original and has some small dents. The car has been repainted twice and the top was replaced many years ago. Some quarter turn fasteners for outside curtains have been added. There is bubbling paint indicating some rust in the lower right cowl side and lower right C-panel above the seam. The left fender has a welded crack. The lower windshield glass was broken and we have replaced it with safety glass. There is an after-market center headlight support and left rear view mirror. The battery box has deteriorated and has been replaced with wood. The truck does not have a Warford auxiliary transmission so the seat mounts have not been cut. The front wheels are 30" X3.5" clincher rims and we have a good set of front tires that will be installed. The rear wheels are 32" X 6" straight side stock rims.The seats have been reupholstered in not-correct fabric. The starter button has been moved from the floor to the left dash. The truck has a very scarce factory-made grain box with three level boards. We have the third level side boards (not shown). The three level end gate boards are there (not shown). All the scarce hardware for the grain box sides are all there. The truck has a October 27, 1927 177 HP 4 cylinder 22 HP motor. The motor turns over and has compression. It has a 1926 vaporizer carburetor system. The wiring needs to be redone. The original timer has been replaced and the old one bypassed. There is an aftermarket exhaust whistle.
