This Sea Gull gray 1947 Lincoln Eighth Series 76H 4 door sedan is an older restoration ready to be shown and enjoyed or restored again. This is an average #3 twenty footer car with older not-perfect paint and interior. The car runs and drives well and has a little over 42,000 original miles on the odometer and this appears to be the actual mileage. The paint is worn and chipped in places. The body is solid and straight. There is a little paint bubbling from surface rust in the bottoms of the doors. There are also some surface rust areas showing around some of the trim and below the rain gutters. The driver door glass is cracked. Some of the chrome trim is bubbling and pitted. The bumpers are worn. The older reupholstered gray and blue interior is not perfect or an exact match. The seats are worn and stained. The wood grain door inserts are worn in places. The rear window tray is warped. The blue carpet and beading may not be correct. The headliner looks ok. The floors and trunk bottom are solid. All of the hydraulic power windows work. The 305 CID L-head 130 HP V-12 motor and three speed manual column shift transmission work normally. The car runs and drives and the brakes are good.
