This Seamist Green 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air 4 door sedan is a mostly complete body and chassis ready to be restored or customized. The body has solid and dry western desert sheet metal, except there is a small rust area in the back right panel by the deck lid corner. There are small dents in the body sheet metal. The windshield and some of the flat glass is broken. The rear glass is good. The front bumper is missing. The headlight trim and hood emblems are gone. The grill surround trim is broken. The side trim is dented. The Chevy badges by the Bel Air side badges are gone. The left quarter trim is screwed on and the rear tail trim piece is missing. The tail light assemblies are gone and the rear bumper is dented. The deck lid emblem is gone. The driver door exterior mirror is gone. There are bullet holes in the top front and top left side. The car has a blue interior. The original seat cores are there. The speedometer is there. All the dash controls and knobs are gone. There are switches added to the center dash. The radio, ash trays, glove box lock, horn button and clock or right badge insert are gone. The floors are solid. The steering column has been lowered to clear the steering box on a not stock motor exhaust manifold. The trunk is locked and the condition of the trunk floor is unknown. The original 265 CID OHV 2V 163 HP V-8 motor and Powerglide two speed automatic transmission are gone. The motor and transmission are not stock. The motor is stripped. The radiator and master cylinder and other under-hood components are gone. Here is your chance to restore or customize a 55 Chevy Bel Air sedan with dry western sheet metal.
