This Army olive drab 1942 Ford GPW 4X4 Universal utility military vehicle is a fairly rough body and chassis ready to be restored or added to your existing project jeep. There is no grill or windshield frame. The right side of the hood is bent and the tie down brackets are missing. The front fenders and body sides have some dents. The left rocker and lower side are rusted. The rear tail gate is missing. The rear sheet metal has been reinforced with a welded-in panel, which is bent in at the top. The right quarter side is very dented. There are drill and mounting holes on both sides. The front frame has welded extensions and the front bumper is not stock. The dash is stripping and all the gauges are gone. The glove box door with the tags and VIN plate are missing. The seats are gone. The floor under the seats and sides are rusted and poorly-made patch panels have been installed. The center floor shift hole has been enlarged. The entire power train is missing except the rear axle is there. This GPW body and chassis could be restored or used in an existing project.
