This green and white 1957 Reo Gold Comet 2 ton semi tractor is a scarce short wheel base commercial truck ready to be restored or customized. The body has very solid and straight western desert sheet metal. There are a few small dents in the body and grill. The right fender has been sanded. The left Gold Comet hood badge, center Reo badge and headlight ring trim are gone. There are holes in the cowl where running lights were mounted. The wipers are missing. The gray interior is complete except the seat cushions are missing. The dash and gauges are complete. The floor is solid. The outer rear dual wheels are missing. The truck has hydraulic brakes. The Gold Comet Six 331 CID OHV inline six cylinder 145 HP motor and four speed manual shift transmission are all there. The truck was in service about ten years ago and was running and driving when it was stored. The actual running and driving condition is unknown.
