This black 1959 Mercury Monterey Model 58A 4 door sedan is a mostly complete body and chassis ready to be restored or customized. The body has solid and dry western desert sheet metal. The grill and right headlight trim are gone and the front bumper is pulled out on the right bottom. The hood lip trim and left upper grill surround are dented. The hood ornament is gone but the base is there. The windshield is cracked at the top but it may be repairable. There are scraps on the sides of both front fenders. The driver outside mirror is missing. The left rear door and quarter front are scrapped and the trim is gone. There is a little rust in the left rocker. The paint is bubbling in the back side of the left quarter panel. The left quarter side fin back louver medallion is gone. The deck lid lock and lock cover trim are missing. The two tone blue and white interior is all there, except the ignition key, cigarette lighter and both ash trays are missing. The dash and gauges are all there. The seats are all there. The floor is solid. The optional 383 CID 2V OHV V-8 motor, radiator and three speed Multi-Drive Merc-O-Matic automatic transmission are gone. The car came with power steering and power brakes.
