This Fern green and Polar white 1953 Oldsmobile Super 88 2 door hardtop is a very complete original survivor car ready to be restored or customized. The car has been stored inside a shop for many years. The body has solid and dry western sheet metal, except there is a little rust in the rockers and rear fender tails. The left fender trim is dented. Both rear quarter rock guards and front wheel well sheet metal are dented. The left rear bumper is pulled out and the left end is dented. The right rear bumper end has some dents and rust. The right side trim is missing. The green, gray and white interior is complete. The original seats are there. The horn ring and wiper bladesare on the front seat. The shifter trim and knob are missing. The left front seat plastic side trim has been patched. The dash, gauges and radio are all there. It has an option glove box clock. The floors are solid. There are four stock hubcaps on the front seat and they has some small dents. The car has a freshly-rebuilt Oldsmobile Rocket 303 CID OHV 165 HP 4V four barrel V-8 motor which is out of the car and has newer been run since rebuilt. The car has a standard three speed manual column shift transmission. The not-rebuilt 4 barrel carburetor is on the front seat. The air cleaner is missing.
