This red 1948 Diamond T Model 201 one ton pickup is an all-original never-restored classic truck ready to be restored. The truck has solid and dry western desert sheet metal. There are a few dents in the body and box. The right lower door is dented. There is a small rusted area on the left fender to the left of the headlight bracket. The truck is a flatbed with short running boards and a correct box added. The tail gate has some dents. Reproduction pickup running boards are available for about $300 each. The front bumper is an optional factory chrome bumper. The rear bumper is missing. The stock interior is all there. The dash and all the gauges are there. The speedometer works. The temperature gauge does not work. The floor is solid. The front windows work. The 237 CID L-head inline six cylinder motor runs well. It has 22 lbs. oil pressure, smokes a little and has some valve noise. The speedometer reads 104,077 miles and this is likely the original mileage. The right hub leaks differential fluid. The truck has a completely-rebuilt brake system and the correct gas filler tube has been installed throught the left rear fender.
