This light blue 1955 Chevrolet Second Series 3100 1/2 ton SWB stepside pickup with a big back window is a fairly complete truck body and chassis ready to be restored. All the curved glass is good. Both front fender tails are rusted and have amateur filler patches. Both lower rear cab corners are rusted and need to be replaced. The hood ornament is missing. The left headlight trim is inside the truck. The parking light lenses are gone.The right door has some small dents. The paint is peeling and there is some surface rust in the right rear fender and there are some dents in the back. The rear bumper is gone. The tail gate is not stock. The box bottom has a sheet steel bottom liner. There are holes cut in the left side of the box and the box sides have some dents. There are mounting holes in the left running board. The running boards have some dents. The side mirrors are gone. There is a little rust in the inside vertical panel of the left step. The truck has non-stock white five stock wheels. The truck has a black interior. The dash and gauges are all here except there are three holes drilled in the left dash and the radio is gone. The bench seat is not stock. The arm rests are missing. The steering wheel is not stock and the horn ring is missing. There are add-on turn signals, gauges and gas pedal. The center floor cover pan is missing. The rest of the floor is solid. The 235 CID OHV inline six cylinder motor, radiator and three speed manual floor shift transmission are gone. The transmission support is cut away.
