This white 1955 Ford F-100 Custom Cab 1/2 ton stepside pickup is a mostly complete classic truck ready to be restored or customized. The body has solid and dry western desert sheet metal except there is some rust in the right rear box outer corner and the tail of the left running board and fender joint. Some paint is bubbling in the right lower rear cab corner. The cab corners are not badly rusted like most trucks of this era. The windshield is cracked. The hood badges and grill V-8 badges are gone. There are some small dents here and there in the body. The door mirrors and right door bracket are gone. The truck has a left spare well. There are dents in the left rear fender. There are drill holes in the box sides, running boards and right cowl side. The box sides have some bends and dents. The tailgate is damaged and it has steel bars welded to the top and bottom. There are add-on tailgate and rear box side reflectors. The box floor is gone. There are dents in the right front fender and fender tail. The right rear hood corner is bent. The right running board has a crack. The truck has shop-made bumpers and the rear has a tow hitch. The white interior is missing the seat, horn button, dash clock, shifter knob, right door upper hinge cover and both lower door panels. The floor is solid. The 239 CID 2V OHV 132 HP V-8 motor and four speed manual floor shift transmission are all there except the radiator is missing. The air cleaner is in the cab. Nothing is taken off the motor and it looks like it might be a runnier. However the running and driving condition is unknown. Here is your chance to restore or customize a desirable 55 Ford pickup.
