This beige 1975 Sebring-Vanguard CitiCar Model SV-48 2 door hardtop is a very nice, original electric car ready to be restored and put back into service. This electric car is powered by a 3.5 HP GE Series Wound DC motor powered by eight 6 volt batteries. This is a direct drive (no transmission) vehicle using a Curtis controller. The car has 4.80 X 12 trailer tires. The car has a top speed of 38 MPH and a range of about 40 miles at 28 MPH. It is a licensable, titled street legal electric car. It has a crack in the plastic body above the left corner of the windshield and a blemish on the back top body which need to be prepped and painted. Otherwise, the body is good. The black vinyl top needs to be replaced. There is blemished area in the right dash panel. The electric motor is apart and needs the armature turned. We have a set of new brushes. We have the original batteries but they are tired and need to be replaced. We have a set of NOS side curtains still in the box. The original black interior is in good condition. The car has two black bucket seats with 12 cubic feet of storage space behind the seats. We have the original propane heater, which is out of the car. The CitiCar weights 1,350 lbs.
