This dark blue 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS Super Sport 2 door hardtop is a solid, fairly complete desert project car ready to be restored. This car was an original V-8 automatic car with power steering and brakes. The car had been sitting on it's top and the top is damaged and the windshield is gone. The front bumper is dented. The left outer headlight trim is missing. The right quarter and trim is dented at the back. The rest of the body is straight. There is a little rust in the lower front fender tails. Otherwise, the rest of the car is solid. The blue interior is all there except the driver bucket seat and some of the interior handles and radio are missing. There is a non-stock driver seat. Someone has started to convert the car to a manual floor shift. A clutch pedal has been installed and a hole is cut in the floor. The steering wheel is not stock. The dash automatic transmission indicator dial is gone. The floors look good although the carpets have not been pulled up. The deck lid is locked so the trunk floor cannot be inspected. The chassis looks solid. The original power train is gone. There is a later 400 CID 4 barrel small block V-8, condition unknown, with no transmission.
